PSSA Soccer 

The Goulburn Public School girl’s and boy’s soccer teams braved wet, windy and cold weather to compete in the PSSA Knockout gala day. Both teams started the day with a win which lifted spirits. Unfortunately, both lost their next match, which was the third round of the knockout stage. Both teams had one more match left, the ‘minor final’. 

The girls fought hard and were up against the odds having lost players due to injury and being down to eight players at one stage. They nonetheless kept battling in tough conditions and should be immensely proud despite finishing the day with a defeat. The boys came from behind to win their minor final, a great result for the school. 

Congratulations to all the players and parents who persisted in the weather and represented the school in fine fashion.
