What's happening in Year 3 and 4 Enrichment groups?

Last term, our Year 3 and Year 4 enrichment groups were keeping very busy!

Some students have continued consolidating their French grammar skills, with a particular focus on the passé composé — brought to life through fun and engaging educational games such as the Pink Panther and the Knights game. 

Meanwhile, others have embarked on a truly exciting new project. Inspired by Bernard Friot's wonderful collection Les Histoires Pressées, our budding broadcasters are working towards creating their very own podcasts. From crafting short, imaginative stories to recording and producing them, the students are developing their creativity, oral expression and digital skills all at once.

What's happening in Teaching Through Technology?

Teaching Through Technology: Grade 3/4 Present to Grade 1/2

Last term in Digital Technologies, Grade 3/4 students designed interactive Google Sites presentations to teach Grade 1/2 students about life cycles with a real focus on tailoring content for their target audience. Beyond researching, designing and formatting their sites, students added hyperlinked buttons to make them fully interactive. This week, they presented their projects to the Grade 1/2 classes, who loved seeing all the hard work on display.
