End of Term Highlights
As Term 2 comes to a close, students across Years 7 to 9 have had a fantastic few weeks filled with activity, achievement, and celebration.
From sporting success to creative performances and community-building events, it’s been a term packed with opportunities to shine.
Year 7 Bounce Excursion – Friday 4th July
To mark the end of a busy term, our Year 7 students will enjoy a well-earned excursion to Bounce on Friday 4th July. This fun and active outing is a great way to build friendships, celebrate their achievements, and strengthen the sense of community among the Year 7 cohort.
Year 7 Breakfast Music Concert – Thursday 3rd July
Families were invited to join us for the Year 7 Breakfast Music Concert on Thursday 3rd July. Students showcased their musical talents in a relaxed and welcoming setting, while everyone enjoyed a light breakfast. It was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate creativity and connect with the school community.
Year 7 Round Robin Success
A big congratulations to our Year 7 students who participated in the recent interschool Round Robin competition. Both of our netball teams and the badminton team have advanced to the next round! Their teamwork, sportsmanship, and effort were outstanding.
NMR Cross Country
Well done to all students from Years 7 to 9 who competed at the Northern Metropolitan Region (NMR) Cross Country event. It was fantastic to see so many students give it their all, representing our school with pride and resilience. A special shout-out to Finn Gross who has qualified for the state finals — a remarkable achievement!
Wrapping Up Term 2
As we wrap up Term 2, we want to recognise the efforts and accomplishments of all our students in Years 7 to 9. Whether it’s in the classroom, on the stage, or on the field, our students have embraced challenges, grown in confidence, and contributed positively to school life.
We wish all families a safe and restful holiday break and look forward to another exciting and rewarding term ahead.

Aaden’s Report
Favourite part of high school
My best part of High school in term 1 is that I got to play a basketball game and I scored a few baskets with all my mates at lunch and I passed so much I got 8 points and a few assists. For term 2 is that I worked with my best friend in class and I did the best in answering questions about Ancient China.
Camp
So I feel that camp was great. The first dinner we had Lasagna and it was pretty good and nice and delicious. But in my cabin I had 8 of my friends and it went really well. The next day we did a fun obstacle course. It was the best because I stood there the whole time and didn’t even fall a single time. But the camp groups I had were 3 of my friends and it was amazing. But at night we had so much fun we had chicken schnitzel. But until late at night we get to hang around outside by playing sports, doing a race, playing fun games and even looking at the stars but I played with all my mates. The next day we had breakfast and did some fun activities and left.
Sports
Something from sports that I feel like for term 2 is that everyone played really well. We showed so much respect that we played our way but we kept on losing but we kept on trying and trying. So everyone listened and followed instructions and showed so much school values.
Learning
For learning we have been doing lots of tests, and we have been working on ancient china, citizenships and even Ancient Australia for Humanities and for maths we have been learning so many fractions and had our humanities presentation we would love to share. For P.E we were learning badminton, fitness testing and 1 session introduction to basketball.
How term 2 going:
We have been hard working students and learning about what you want to be when you grow up. Also we will celebrate our last day at Bounce.
