From the Principal's Desk

Just a Little Bit of Noise

A huge thanks to our children and teachers for putting up with a ' little' more noise the past few days as our builders cut through footings.

It's amazing how the children can amuse themselves with the noise.

Everything is running to schedule despite hitting a couple of unforeseen pipes and services along the way.

Learning Expo

On Wednesday 2nd July, families are invited to attend our very popular Learning Expo!

Operating between 3:30 pm and 4:30 pm, you will be able to immerse yourself in all things, furry, feathery and leafy.

Your children may want to pack an extra snack for afternoon tea in their lunchboxes to help them get through the extended day.

Be sure to mark this date in your diary and be prepared to learn, discover and explore!

We ask that children stay in their Learning Communities for the duration of the Expo as they will be given time to walk through the Expo on Thursday morning.

School Uniform

A reminder that all students are now expected to wear the full winter uniform.

There are no variations permitted — all uniform items must be school-issued and not sourced elsewhere. Uniform purchases can be made through the school office.

For boys, this includes:

  • School blue shirt or white skivvy

  • School jumper

  • Long grey trousers

  • Black school shoes

For girls, this includes:

  • White blouse or white skivvy (not a white polo shirt)

  • School jumper

  • Winter skirt or blue slacks

  • Navy tights or white socks

  • Black school shoes

Students are to wear the school sports uniform only on designated sports days.

Coats, jackets, scarves, and similar items are not to be worn during class time.

In fairness to all, the correct uniform must be worn at all times. Uniform notices will be sent home to families if a student's uniform is incorrect. Please address these immediately.

  • If your child is out of uniform for any reason, a written note is required.

Thank you for your cooperation and continued support in maintaining high standards at our school.

Socks and Jocks

Could we ask that all families place a spare pair of underpants and socks/tights in a plastic bag in their child's bag for those unforeseen accidents that occur at school? Please inform your child about the location of these items so that they can be accessed when needed. While we keep a small supply on hand, they always seem to need replenishing.

Timetable Changes

Timetable changes will continue into next week as we accommodate Term 3 planning sessions and PSGs. Your teachers will communicate these via Cass Dojo and class notices.

A Budding Star

Congratulations to Elliana (Yr 5/6) who has been successfully cast in the role of Duffy in the upcoming production of Annie the Musical.

This is a significant achievement, coming on the heels of a highly competitive audition process.  Elliana now has a demanding rehearsal schedule leading up to the production.

This is a fantastic opportunity for Elliana, and we can’t wait to see her shine on stage. Congratulations!

Fees and Levies

Just a reminder that, unless you are paying by weekly or fortnightly instalments, Term 2 school fees and the Capital Levy are due by Friday, 4th July.

In fairness to all families, financial responsibilities must be kept up to date. If you are falling behind or experiencing difficulties, now would be a good opportunity to contact the school office to discuss your options.

Have a wonderful week.

God Bless

Anthony Hyde
