Being Brave

During Term 3, all students from Years Foundation to Year 3 were given an amazing opportunity to watch a live theatre performance! Brainstorm Productions, who tour around Australia, visited us to perform ‘Being Brave’ in front of our impeccably behaved audience.

We followed a fantastic story about a boy called Fly, whose parents' separation led him to bottle up his feelings, but he learns the true meaning of bravery by connecting with others in his community. We heard some great singing, saw some cool dance moves and some amazing acting, the students were talking about it for days! 

It was outstanding to hear from the company about how fantastic, respectful and attentive our students were, and we were all very proud of them! 

We know this could be the first of many theatre productions our students will watch, as we know they will have caught the theatre bug!
