It’s been a busy start to Term 3 in PE at Rangeview! Here are some of the highlights.

State Cross Country

Last week, Rayani from Level 4 competed in the Victorian State Cross Country at the challenging and muddy Yarra Glen Racecourse. Rayani had previously finished 1st at our School Cross Country, 1st at the Nunawading District Cross Country, 1st at the Whitehorse Division Cross Country, and 3rd at the Eastern Regional Cross Country in June, an impressive feat in itself.

On the day, Rayani ran an amazing race, finishing 4th overall in the state out 100 runners and over 75,000 students across the state. This makes her the first Cross Country runner from our school to qualify for Nationals on the Gold Coast where she will represent Team Victoria and Rangeview.

We are incredibly proud of her achievement in reaching such a high level of competition and are extremely impressed with the effort she demonstrated on the day. We also extend our thanks to Rayani’s fantastic family for their support and assistance with training throughout all levels of Cross Country.

Good luck, Rayani, we are so proud of you!
