STEAM Programs

Did you know that Geelong Library offers STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Maths) programs designed to engage young people through hands-on experiences? These programs encourage collaboration, creativity, and the development of essential skills like problem-solving and communication. 

 

STEAM programs and activities are diverse and always evolving and include:

  • LEGO MINDSTORMS EV3 robotics
  • Basic programming
  • Digital stories
  • OSMO
  • Makey Makeys (using everyday objects to take over the functionality of a keyboard)
  • Little Bits electronics
  • Squishy Circuits (basic electronics)
