Our Mission Statement
We work alongside the school to support improved outcomes
for all students. We fundraise throughout the year to ensure our
students, teachers and school have access to the most up to date
resources and equipment. We support our local community and
families and uphold the positive image of Werris Creek Public School.
The canteen will be open every second Friday this Term. Dates of opening days are as follows:
Week 9 Friday, 27th June (Sports Carnival)
If you can assist in helping in the canteen, please contact the P&C President, Jim Galbraith on 0452 245 899 or school for details.
Werris Creek Public School P&C have been fortunate to receive a date to host the Bunnings BBQ fundraiser at Tamworth Bunnings on Sunday 27th July. To make this a success we need your help. If you can spare an hour or two of your time on this date it would be greatly appreciated. Please contact Jim Galbraith on 0452 245 899 to advise times that you are available to assist.
The P&C will be running a Pie Drive early next term to raise funds for our school. Order forms were sent home yesterday. All orders together with money are due back on Friday 25th July 2025. Collection date will be Friday, 8th August. If you wish to receive a pie drive order form, please contact the school office.
Our next General Meeting will be held Monday, 28th July at 5:30pm at the Werris Creek Sports Club - Engine Room. All welcome to attend and new members are welcome.
We will be holding a canteen at the Athletics Carnival on Friday, 27th June. To assist us in being able to cater for everyone, a note was sent home last week to order for the day. If you have not done so, could you please ensure the order is returned together with money to the school office by tomorrow, Wednesday, 25th June. This will help in catering and streamlining the process on the day so everyone can enjoy lunch. If you did not receive an order form and would like to purchase, please contact the school office. We will accept orders on the day but will have limited stock available. All families who order will receive their lunch first.
