Senior Hoop Time

Wednesday, 4 June saw our Senior Hoop Time Day at the State Basketball Centre. Park Ridge entered 13 teams into the event, once again an outstanding uptake. Students have been training in their teams since the beginning of term, and I have been particularly impressed by the leadership shown by the nominated training captains of each team. 

I’d like to thank the parents who offered to help with either coaching or scoring for teams as well as a number of Year 12 students from the Rowville Sports Academy who were also on board as coaches. 

Highlights on the day included our All-Star boys who made the grand final but unfortunately lost to Vermont PS, and one of our Future Stars teams, the Park Ridge Rebels, winning the Future Stars division and going through to Regionals in term 4!
