Semester 1 Reports

Our teachers are currently in the final stages of putting the finishing touches on our Semester 1 Reports. Our semester reports are intended to be a valuable document for parents to gain a deep understanding of their child's achievement, learning growth and also their areas for future development.

To deliver a clear view for our families, the reports provide insight of your child’s achievements and future learning. This reporting format includes:

  • Teacher comment

  • Achievement goals for Literacy and Numeracy

  • Future learning goals for Literacy and Numeracy

  • Strategies the school will implement to support learning

  • Insight into your child’s display of our school values

  • Insight into their behaviour, both in class and in the yard as well as work ethic.

Please note that due to our full implementation of the Mathematics curriculum 2.0 (Victorian Curriculum), your child's report card will look different to previous years.

On your child's previous report, classroom teachers reported against the 3 strands of the achievement standard for mathematics (Number and Algebra, Measurement and Geometry, and Statistics and Probability). Under the Mathematics curriculum 2.0, your child’s teacher will report against the achievement standard as a whole, providing a single, aggregated score.

As the achievement standards reported on have changed, the first time you receive a report under the Mathematics 2.0 curriculum, it will only show achievement and not progress. For all reports after this, progress will be shown against the single achievement standard.

Our Semester 1 Reports will be made available on Compass on Wednesday the 2nd of July at 3:30 pm. Our Parent Teacher Conferences will be held in Week 4 of Term 3. More information regarding our Parent Teacher Conferences will be made available early next Term.

Thank you,

Mr Brendan Garvey
