Hands on Learning: Creativity in Action!

The Hands on Learning space has been buzzing with activity as students roll up their sleeves and get involved in woodwork, gardening, and cooking. It has been fantastic to see young minds putting their skills to the test, working together, and coming up with brilliant ideas to improve our school!

In woodwork with Scotty, students have been learning how to use the drill when making a versatile toolbox. Their teamwork and collaboration have been amazing to watch.

Our green thumbs have been hard at work with Erin in the garden, planting, weeding, and nurturing the garden and chickens. They have seen the results of hard work and persistence and what a difference teamwork can make.

Meanwhile, in the kitchen with Mrs Caldwell, delicious aromas have been filling the air as students whip up tasty treats and nutritious meals. They’ve been learning essential cooking techniques, experimenting with ingredients, and, of course, enjoying the delicious results of their hard work in a ‘family’ lunch.

Best of all, the ideas keep flowing! Students have been brainstorming exciting ways to make our school an even better place. With plenty more projects on the horizon, there’s no limit to what can be achieved in our Hands on Learning space.
