Year 6 Student Leaders at GRIP Conference

Last week, our incredible Year 6 student leaders from both campuses attended the GRIP Leadership Conference in Launceston!

This inspiring program equipped our young leaders with valuable skills, focusing on key values:

Generosity – Using our time and resources to positively impact others.

Responsibility – Growing our leadership and helping others thrive.

Integrity – Leading with honesty and truth.

People – Recognising the value and purpose in everyone.

It was an unforgettable experience, and we can’t wait to see our leaders put their learning into action!

Combined Play Group

Our playgroups are fun for both adults and kids alike! Thanks to all of the families who joined us for our combined campus' playgroup in Penguin last week. It was wonderful forming those cross-campus connections.

ENROLMENTS FOR 2026 ARE OPEN!

We encourage our current families with siblings for next year, or beyond, to please lodge an 'Enrolment Enquiry Form' via our website https://www.leighland.tas.edu.au/enquiries as soon as possible to secure your child’s spot, and to assist our Principals in determining vacancies.  Once you have submitted your form, we will send you a link to our application form from our new online enrolment system (Funnel). Please note: siblings are not automatically enrolled; completion of the enrolment application & provision of supporting documentation is required for all students.

If you are aware of a new family who are considering enrolment for their child/ren, please encourage them to complete our Enrolment Enquiry Form.  We would welcome the opportunity to provide them with our information pack, and organise a tour of our facilities.

Melinda Mott (Registrar) and Nicole Gillam (PA to Burnie Principal)
