Principal Report

Welcome to our first Whytalla for 2025. We are changing the format slightly and will look for feedback from our learning community to continually improve our newsletter. 

Co-Principal Arrangements

Jen and I are really enjoying sharing the principal role together this year. It gives a more diverse outlook which I see as beneficial to our learning environment. We both have different strengths we bring to the role, but our passion to lead, teach and nurture are the same. 

New Staff 😊

We have been really lucky with being able to fill positions for teacher aide and administration staff. Three of our new staff are ex-students. In order of the photo below, we welcome the following new staff members:

Cath Van-Dyk (teaching), ex-students and locals Tom Cooper, Bec Carter and Caitlin Smith (all admin/teacher aides) and Nicole Marks, who has also joined our staff as a teacher aide.

We also welcome more recent staff additions Emma Atkins (teacher aide), Sarah Burgess (teaching), Sarah Domaschenz (teaching), Mathematics/Science teacher Sandeep Raman and Beth Jones (part of our front office administration team).

Edenhope College’s 2024 Annual Report

Please find attached a link to our 2024 Annual Report. We report annually within the Education Department and then release the report to our learning community. It tracks and comments on student academia, wellbeing and the school's financial outlook.
