Athletics Day

Dear Parents,

The annual St Joseph's Athletics Day is coming up on Friday 14th March. The day is a highlight on the school calendar with all students from Prep through to Year 6 taking part in a range of fun sporting events. We also encourage as many families and parents as possible to attend and get involved in the event as a spectator, supporter or volunteer.

Date:                        Friday, March 14th

Time:                       10:00am to 2:00pm

Transport:             Bus leaving promptly from St Josephs at 9:10am

Where:                    Duncan MacKinnon Athletics Track

What to wear:       School Sports Uniform

What to bring:      Lunch, snacks and a water bottle. Suncream and school hat

Classroom teachers will require at least 2 parent helpers to support the class in running the events.  If you are able to assist (and have a current Working With Children's Check), please contact your classroom teacher.

We also need 8 parents to assist with timekeeping on the day. If you are available for this role please contact Garin at gsandler@sjelst.catholic.edu.au

The buses will collect the Prep to Year 2 children at 12:30pm and the Years 3-6 children somewhere between 1:30-2:00pm.

At the conclusion of their events, if you wish to take your child/ren home directly from the ground, please notify your class teacher via email.
