House Athletics Carnival
On Thursday the 20th of March we were fortunate enough that the rain held off and we were able to have a fantastic day for our annual RHPS House Athletics Carnival! The focus of the day was all about having fun, giving our best efforts, and applying everything we’ve learned in PE throughout Term 1.
A MASSIVE thank you to the parents and family members who stepped in to help! Your support and generosity with your time are truly appreciated. We also want to thank the staff for their help with the preparation and smooth running of the event. A special mention goes to Lauren, who set up the pop-up canteen at the track. The canteen was definitely the hotspot at lunchtime on Thursday!
Finally, a huge congratulations to our amazing students! The spirit, effort, and encouragement shown throughout the day were exceptional! The final scores were as follows:
1st – Freeman – 1595 points
2nd – Bradman – 1547 points
3rd – Rafter - 1409 points
4th – Thorpe - 1328 points
Swimming
A big round of applause for Chelsea, who competed in the Eastern Metropolitan Region Swimming Championships on 21st of March. Chelsea gave a stellar performance! Chelsea placed 5th in the 11/12 girls 50m butterfly and 4th in the 11/12 girls breaststroke. Reaching this level of competition is a remarkable achievement—well done Chelsea!
Kind regards,
Miss Twentyman
