STUDENT LEADERSHIP CONGRESS

On Thursday 20th March 2025, six of our School Leaders and teachers Lidia Allen and Jarryd Lewis will attend the Student Leaders Congress at Deakin University.

'The Student Leaders Congress is held each year in March. A day of leadership inspiration brings together student leaders in years 5 to 8 and teachers from local schools to hear from local community leaders, youth shire groups and inspiring leaders who share their stories of leadership.'

The attending students will find the information very relevant and inspiring. A school improvement project will be identified by this leadership group and we look forward to hearing all about it.

KOORIE LEADERSHIP DAY

By Kaley Grayson and Layla Herbertson

On Monday 3rd March Year 5/6 Koorie leaders took the bus to Gunditjmara Cooperative to join in with students from other local schools in a Leadership Day. We sat down and sketched our ideas for a group logo. Artist, Sherry Johnstone, helped us and showed us a logo she had designed recently. Artists and screen printers from One Day Studios were also there to assist us. We all put parts of our ideas on the floor and the group voted on their favourite ideas We put these onto one poster as a draft for our leadership logo. The logo turned out really unique and we all loved the experience of attending. We look forward to the next Leadership Day. We would like to thank Mrs Mills and Lachie for taking us. These photos show our ideas and us working together on the day.

TENNIS HOT SHOTS

Today select students from Years 5/6 attended Hot Shots Tennis at Supergrasse Tennis Centre. All students showed great sportsmanship and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Thank you to Jill, Nicole and Mrs Owen for assisting.

Have a great weekend.
