Literacy Learning is Fun in F/1!

In F/1 our letter investigations have covered all the letters in SATPIN, which now allows us to start writing words. During letter and word investigations we rotate through various activities to keep everyone learning at their level, and everyone has some daily handwriting practice to keep "writing right, first time, every time!" 

5/6 Kitchen Garden Success!!

On Monday we went across the road to cook some scones with Lilly T's Mum Jo. 

The students were put into small groups and had to follow a recipe to make the scones, clean up after themselves (dishes included) and then we all sat down and ate together. The scones were delicious!

2-3-4 All Stars’ Beach Trip

After achieving another class celebration, 2-3-4 fired up their imaginations to take a trip to the beach…at school! We had fun together reading Magic Beach, lazing on towels, building sandcastles and playing beach cricket (well, basketball in the end). All to a soundtrack of crashing waves and seagulls.
