Year 10 and Year 11
As our Year 10 and 11 students complete their first assessments, this is an important time for reflection. These assessments provide valuable insight into strengths and areas for growth, helping students understand where to focus their efforts moving forward. While some may feel confident in their performance, others might recognise the need for more structured study habits.
Effective time management is essential for success. Students should ensure they are dedicating appropriate time to their studies, balancing schoolwork with other commitments. Regular revision and avoiding last-minute cramming will lead to deeper learning and reduced stress.
I strongly encourage students to take an active role in their learning by continually seeking feedback from their teachers. Asking questions, acting on advice, and making improvements based on feedback are key to academic success. These early assessments are stepping stones for future achievements, and with the right approach, every student has the potential to excel.
We extend our sincere appreciation to our teachers for their consistent dedication and commitment to our Salvado students. Our teachers’ efforts in nurturing and guiding our students are highly valued. We encourage students and parents to genuinely connect with teachers in pursuit of student excellence. By working together to cultivate relationships which echo the sentiment of the College’s Code of Conduct (which can be located on the school’s website), we can continue to enrich our learning environment by strengthening our important home and school partnerships.

Mr Jason Meynell
