YEAR 1

FROM THE CLASSROOM

In Week 6, as part of our Book Week celebrations, we were excited to welcome children’s author Amy Adeney to speak with our Year 1 students. Amy shared her journey as an author, discussed the inspiration behind her books and gave students insight into the creative writing and publishing process.

Through her presentation, students were encouraged to use their imagination, develop their love of reading and create stories of their own. It was a wonderful opportunity to meet a published author and celebrate the joy of books and storytelling.
