MY EDUCATION AWARD FINALISTS
A huge congratulations to Glenis and everyone involved in 'The Common Thread Project', which has been shortlisted as a finalist in the Community Initiative category of the 2026 MY Education Awards.
We are proud to see Ramlegh Park represented among this year’s finalists and wish Glenis the very best for the awards.
WAKAKIRRI
A very proud shout out to our Wakakirri students, who represented Ramlegh Park so wonderfully on stage.
The official Show Awards have now been confirmed, and our students received an impressive five awards:
- Storytelling Award for a Great Story
- Storytelling Award for Strong Use of the Festival Motif
- Ensemble Award for Group Dance
- Production Award for Sets, Props and Costumes
- Storytelling Award for Story Theme and Concept
This is a fantastic achievement and a wonderful reflection of the creativity, teamwork and hard work that went into the performance.
Congratulations to all of our students and to the staff who supported them throughout the Wakakirri journey!
YR 6 GIRLS TEE BALL REGIONALS
On Tuesday, our Year 6 girls represented Ramlegh Park at the Regional Tee Ball Competition.
The team played four games across the day, recording a win before also taking out the consolation game. In the final game, the umpire added a fun challenge by asking players to use their non-dominant hand, giving the girls a chance to test their skills in a different way.
Our students showed great teamwork, determination and sportsmanship throughout the competition and should be very proud of how they represented Ramlegh Park.
Congratulations to Le Page Primary School, who were the overall winners on the day, and well done to all of our students who competed.
CASEY CUP NETBALL
Also on Tuesday, a group of our students represented Ramlegh Park at the Casey Cup Netball competition.
It was a fantastic opportunity for students to test their skills against other schools, work together as a team and enjoy a great day of competition. Our students represented Ramlegh Park with enthusiasm, teamwork and excellent sportsmanship throughout the day.
Congratulations to everyone who participated, and thank you to the staff who supported our students and helped make the day possible.
BOOK WEEK PARADE | NEXT FRIDAY!
A reminder that our Book Week Parade is happening next Friday from 9:00am on the outdoor basketball courts.
We can’t wait to see this year’s costumes and all of the wonderful characters our students bring to life! Families are invited to come along and enjoy the parade with us.
A big thank you to TeamKids, who have organised a coffee van for the morning so families can grab a coffee while enjoying the festivities.
We’re looking forward to a fun morning celebrating books, reading and imagination, and hope to see you all there!
GROWING INDEPENDENCE
TRYING BEFORE ASKING FOR HELP
Independent learners understand that it is okay for something to feel difficult. They are willing to pause, think and attempt a task before asking someone else to solve it for them.
At home and at school, students can be encouraged to reread instructions, use available resources, break a task into smaller steps or try a different strategy.
Adults remain an important source of guidance, but allowing children time to work through manageable challenges helps them develop persistence, resourcefulness and confidence in their own abilities.

DUTY OF CARE POLICY
Ramlegh Park Primary School has a responsibility to take reasonable steps to protect students from foreseeable risks of injury or harm while they are in our care. This policy outlines how staff meet their duty of care across the school day, during activities and when responding to situations that may affect student safety.
FIRST AID POLICY
Our First Aid Policy outlines how the school responds when a student becomes unwell or is injured at school. It covers first aid procedures, communication with families and the steps taken to ensure students receive appropriate care when they need it.
STUDENT WELLBEING & ENGAGAMENT POLICY
Positive relationships, a strong sense of belonging and clear expectations all contribute to successful learning. This policy outlines how Ramlegh Park supports student wellbeing, engagement and positive behaviour, as well as the approaches used when students require additional support.
