Introducing our new Staff Members
Hi, my name is Staci Biggins and I teach 4B. I am excited to join the Clyde PS community this year. I have been teaching for 15 years, across primary school, secondary school and special education settings. I have 3 adult children, 2 grandsons as well as 2 very spoilt Cavoodles.
In my spare time, I love to spend time at the park with my grandson Spencer. I love reading books, cooking, going to the movies and travelling. Please feel free to come and say hi if you see me around the school.
Hi! My name is Greg Thomas and I am very excited to be starting this year at Clyde Primary, as the school’s new Digital Technologies teacher. A little about me, I am proud father of two little girls, Charlotte (4) and Isabel (2) who are my two favourite people in the world. Oh, and little Ava also, who is technically not my daughter (as she is a Blue
Heeler/Kelpie), but no less a member of the family. Now on to the fun stuff, my favourite food? Lasagne, favourite TV show? Seinfeld and my favourite pastime, relaxing on the couch (with Ava of course) watching my beloved Hawks. Looking forward to a great year ahead as I get to know the Clyde Primary community and teaching your children about the amazing space of Digital Technologies.
Hello, my name is Safa Chebbou. I am excited to be joining Clyde Primary as an Auslan teacher. While I am new to teaching Auslan, I am not new to teaching, and will be entering my fourteenth year as an educator. My favourite AFL team is CARLTON, GO BLUES! I love to travel, I have lived overseas, I’ve recently started growing my own herbs and vegetables, and I enjoy a competitive games night with family and friends. I look forward to supporting the Clyde Primary School Community to develop Auslan skills and build knowledge about Deaf culture.
Hi, my name is Kelly Dean and I am very excited to be given the opportunity to work as an Education Support in Year 1 at Clyde Primary School this year.
Many may recognise my face, as I have been a parent of the school since 2018.
In my free time I like to spend time with my family, most weekends you will find us at the motorbike track as my husband and two boys ride dirt bikes. If we are not at the track you will find us outdoors, we like to go to the beach or go for hikes. I also love to run and hoping to enter a few charity fun runs in 2024 the first being the Run for Kids in March.
I am looking forward to meeting you all and being a part of the Clyde community.
Hello! My name is Megan, and I am thrilled to be a part of the Clyde Primary School team as an Education Support for the year 5 students. I have two kids, a 6-year-old, and a 12-year-old, who keep me very busy when I’m not at work. In my spare time, I love to travel and explore new places. I enjoy spending time outdoors, especially at the beach or in the mountains. I have a one-year-old Border Collie who loves to join me and my kids on walks. I am excited to assist the year 5 teachers and students in a successful year of learning. I look forward to getting to know the Year 5 students and the wider school community better in the coming months.
Hi. My name is Ms Beck. I have been teaching for over 20 years and worked in a few schools in that time. I have taught Prep to 6 and also had other roles such as Music Teacher, Literacy Support, Tutoring Initiative and Library Teacher. I have completed my Masters degree in Special Educational Needs and am very passionate about seeing all children learn and succeed.
I have 3 children (all boys) that keep me very busy. I also enjoy going to the gym and taking my boys to their basketball games. I have played piano since I was a child and recently pushed myself further and joined a band and play keyboard. Listening and playing to music is my ‘happy place’.
I am really looking forward to working at Clyde Primary School and getting to know the school community!
