2024 Parent Payment Contributions

The 2024 Parent Payment Contributions have been uploaded to Xuno and can be found under the payments tab.

We do appreciate your contribution towards your child’s curriculum costs, as these allow us to run educational programs within the school and provide resources to aid in your child’s learning.

The Curriculum Contribution charge has been split into 4 equal payments.  You can choose to pay all 4 payments at once or one payment per term.

Current payment methods include XUNO, direct deposit or BPay.

Please contact Katrina in Finance if you wish to set up a payment plan.

Split Billing

We understand that sometimes family circumstances change and there can be a need for split billing - splitting the charge equally over two parents to pay separately.

We can now add split billing to XUNO for subject charges so please email katrina.robertson@education.vic.gov.au if you need this capacity actioned on XUNO.

Excursion and sport charges can not be split as they are usually small amounts but there is the option for either parent to pay in full.

If you wish to clarify a continued split billing arrangement or to commence a new split billing arrangement, please email Katrina at the above email address.

CSEF – CAMPS, SPORTS AND EXCURSION FUND 2024

CSEF is provided by the Victorian Government to assist eligible families to cover the cost of school trips, camps and sporting activities.

Families holding a valid means-tested concession card or temporary foster parents are eligible to apply.

For more information or to check if you are eligible please visit:

Camps, Sports and Excursions Fund (CSEF): Resources | education.vic.gov.au

Applications for 2024 are now open and will close at the end of Term 2.

To fill in an application form please visit:

https://www.education.vic.gov.au/PAL/CSEF-application-form.docx

If you received CSEF for your student at Gisborne Secondary College in 2023 there is no need to apply.

If your student is new to Gisborne Secondary College an application form will need to be filled out for 2024 – this includes 2024 Year 7 students transferring from a Primary School.

Excursion Permissions and Payments

Excursions on XUNO close for permission and payment three days before the event occurs.  This allows the school time to confirm transport and staffing requirements.  Please ensure you give permission and payment in a timely manner so your child does not miss out on attending. Any student without permission and/or payment will not be able to attend and will need to remain at school.

If you wish to pay for an excursion using CSEF or credit on your account, you can do the permission on XUNO and either call or email the school to advise of the payment method you wish to utilise.

Students leaving early

If your child needs to leave school early for an appointment, please give them a note to give to their teacher to release them from class (or email the school directly that morning).

You will need to come into reception to collect your child and sign them out.

If your child needs to leave the school grounds without you to attend an appointment, we need an email from a parent authorising this.  Your child will still need to come to reception and sign out before leaving school grounds.  We have a duty of care to ensure that your child remains at school unless collected by a parent or emailed permission has been received prior to departure.
