Cadet Squadron announcement

Gisborne Secondary College is delighted to formally announce its relationship with the No.430 Squadron (Macedon Ranges) Australian Air Force Cadets.  This relationship sees the cadets utilising GSC facilities for its regular cadet activities and weekly Parade Night.  The College couldn’t be happier to be providing use of its facilities – both buildings and external grounds – to provide a new ‘home’ for the No.430 Squadron.  

The 430 Squadron was previously based in Kyneton but due to increased numbers of cadets and staff they outgrew the space and required a larger outdoor area to conduct their parades. The College has the perfect combination of indoor facilities, in the newly refurbished I-Block, as well as expansive outdoor space of the basketball courts.

A recruitment induction day is scheduled this Saturday, 2nd March at the College – please see the below flyer for further details and the QR code to register.

We’re excited to be fostering this new relationship that will support not just young people in our school community, but those in the broader Macedon Ranges community that are looking for a youth development experience and are seeking to join the air force cadets.
