ConnectEd

Miners Rest Primary School are excited to be launching their ConnectEd program for 2024.

ConnectEd gives you the opportunity to experience the how and why of what your child learns at MRPS. Each session offers interactive and hands on activities for you, particularly in the areas of Fine Motor Skills, Literacy and Maths.

The purpose of ConnectEd is two-fold. The skills you learn will help you to support your child’s learning at home. The program will also enable you to become a parent helper, where you can volunteer to work in a classroom, should you wish.

ConnectEd in 2024 is a 5-week program commencing Wednesday 21st February, running for 1 hour each week. It is open to all parents and carers whose children attend our school. MRPS offers the same session in the morning and early evening each Wednesday to enable as many parents as possible to attend.

We are also able to provide free childcare from our Out of School Hours Care facility for either session. For staffing purposes we need to have the number and age of your children who would be attending.

If you are interested in participating in this program, complete the form that your child brought home earlier this week and return it to school by Wednesday 14th February.
