Congratulations to Jett on his Student of the Week award for a great start to the year, showing dedication and responsibility to his academic process and having a positive attitude to learning. Well done!
This week in Mr. Smith's class we have been fortunate enough to have Miss Tara and Miss Monaghan while Mr. Smith is on paternity leave. The students in this learning community have adapted so well to this change and have displayed all our school values during their time in class.
During maths lessons we have been looking at fractions. The students can identify the numerator and denominator in a fraction and are using the correct language to name the fractions shown. We used lego bricks to make fractions, drawing them on a whiteboard and writing the fraction show. Their attitude towards learning and their focus during maths lessons has been commendable.
