Welcome to the Wellbeing Zone. When you enter the zone, you will find a wealth of information about all the things happening in the Wellbeing space at Sunshine Heights PS as well as strategies, articles, book recommendations and events that will help build our dream and culture of Wellbeing throughout our school community, inside and outside of school, so that we can sail together through a universe of possibilities with all the emotional and social skills we need to thrive. 

From ME to YOU

Dear Families, 

Thank you for trusting us with your children for another year at Sunny Heights. It's been full of both hardships and joy and there has been so much fodder for beautiful memories, even in the tough times. 

We hope that you are able to sit back at the end of 2023 and reflect, celebrate and wrap around one another as we head into the festive season and summer holidays. 

Take a breath. You made it. 

Get some rest, fill your cups up, radiate some love and bring in some joy and we will see you all on the flipside for an epic 2024.

BE YOU Project Community Celebration

A massive thank you to all of our families and community who were able to make the Be You Project Launch today. To be able to share it with our community really was magic.

Sunshine Heights & Happy Space Allied Health Speech Program

We are very excited to be partnering with Happy Space Allied Health to run our first Speech Pathology Program.

• Does your child have NDIS funding?
• Does your child need support to develop their speech and language skills?
• Are you interested in school-based speech pathology sessions with an amazing speech pathologist?

If you answered yes to these 3 questions, this program may be perfect for you/your child!Depending on interest and demand, we are looking to have a speech pathologist from Happy Space Allied Health based at our school 1-2 days a week to run a speech pathology program, which may include the following services: 

• Individual speech therapy
• Social Group Sessions
• Parent Information Sessions
• Teacher & ES training

Mackillop Family Services 2024 Parenting Workshops

The Term 1, 2024 parenting program is here! We have over 6 courses and workshops coming-up including:

• Tuning into Kids 
• Circle of Security 
• Bringing up Great Kids 
• The New Age Parent: Managing Screen Time 
• The Informed Parent: Managing Challenging Behaviour 

Places are limited, so please ensure all clients register as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
