Pancake Tuesday - Shrove

Dear Families,

Next week marks the beginning of a very important Season in the Church's Liturgical Calendar, LENT.  

We begin the week with Shrove Tuesday on 13th February, also referred to as Pancake Tuesday.

PARENT HELPERS NEEDED

To assist us in preparing and serving pancakes to the students across the school, we would like to invite any parent or carer who would like to join us in our school hall on 13th February from 8.45am till around 11am.

Thank you and we look forward to seeing as many parent helpers in our school hall, next Tuesday morning ready to flip and serve pancakes for the whole school.

DONATIONS of PANCAKE MIX and TOPPINGS 

To assist us in preparing pancakes for the whole school, we require DONATIONS of the following items by next Monday, 12th February.

Please send items to school with your child and place them in the class bucket, one item per family. Thank you.

Junior Years:

Pancake shaker mix - (original flavour, no diet/lite varieties)

Middle Years:

Jam, honey, butter or maple syrup - (No Nutella, peanut butter products)

Senior Years:

Pancake shaker mix - (original flavour, no diet/lite varieties)

Pancake Tuesday - GOLD COIN DONATIONS Please!

On Pancake Tuesday, we ask each child to DONATE a GOLD COIN to begin our fundraising for Caritas Australia.   An Australian Agency who raises vital funds to assist families around the globe who live in poverty!
