Student Well Being News

I hope everyone has had a great start to the new school year and like our new students, families and staff I fully appreciate how difficult it can be transitioning to a new environment or community and the immense feelings and emotions that this change brings. 

My name is Sue Hone and I have recently started in the new position of “Student Wellbeing Support Officer” at Marian Catholic College. I have a long association with the college having worked in alternate roles previously and indeed my own children attended the school. I love the sense of belonging and community that is evident within the school and creating opportunities and activities for students to experience the same will be the focus of my role. 

With a background in youth work, community services and counselling my role will be to support the work of the Pastoral Team and ultimately the wellbeing of your child.
