Dear Parents and Carers

As the 2023 school year draws to a close, I can't help wonder how the time has passed so quickly. The Year 6 Graduation Mass was a wonderful celebration of a joyful, wholistic primary education. We welcomed special guests Father Michael, Sr Faye and Dr Majorie O'Neil to farewell our Year 6 students as their parents and extended family looked on with pride. The school community attended the Mass and I was so proud of the way, even our youngest students, conducted themselves throughout the formalities. It was very special to reflect on Year 6's time at St Margaret Mary's and we wish them all the best as they transition to their chosen high schools in 2024.

The staff and students should be so proud of the opportunities, success and achievements realised this year. STMM continues to build upon its growing reputation and you are our greatest advocates.

Finally, I wish you all the joys and blessings that Christmas brings. The birth of Jesus renews our hope in realising God’s plan for each of us. It is a special time as family and friends get together. Hopefully, our students will be focussing on the quality of the giving not the quality of the gift, as we remember those who are less fortunate. The students have already encapsulated the true spirit of Christmas with the generous donation we made to the Vinnies Christmas Appeal and the $4000 + we raised for the Parish raffle.

Best wishes, Merry Christmas and may you have a happy, healthy and successful New Year.
