Over the last couple of weeks, the Year 2's have been learning about both 2D and 3D shapes. We have been looking at the different features of shapes including faces, edges, vertices and curved surfaces. One activity that the students really enjoyed was when we used clay and icy pole sticks to create different shapes, we then used the shapes we had created to identify and record the different features of each.
