Creating Futures Together

IT'S NATIONAL SCIENCE WEEK!

This week is Science Week. The theme this year is Innovation – Powering Future Industries.

” This year’s theme could not be more relevant to our society, where innovation is essential for economic growth, sustainability, and progress. Science and innovation are the driving forces behind significant progress in various fields, including health, technology, and the environment”

Rosemary Anderson ASTA President

With bunsen burners a-blazing and beakers, a-mixing, our students have been busy looking at aspects of Science in their relative topics. Teachers also were lucky enough to celebrate Science Week with a Morning Tea.

Our Year 9 Chemistry students have been diving in and discovering all sorts of chemical reactions, Year 7 students are looking at Ecosystems and Year 8 students are moving from Biology to Physics. Below are some quick snaps of what's been happening in Science Week at WHSC!
