Years 5 and 6 - Mathemagicians

On Wednesday, Boambee Public School sent 21 students in Year's 5 and 6 that had a thirst for more mathematics to experience Creating Mathemagicians – a synergistic approach to learning mathematics that aims to build a sense of belonging and connection with future Year 7 students at Toormina High School by engaging participants in a range of fun and explorative mathematical activities.

Toormina High mathematics teachers had designed the program with the purpose to engage, enrich, collaborate and develop curiosity whilst experiencing playful mathematics.

Our students enjoyed the challenges and the courtesy mini-bus ride!
