In the last issue of Contact we announced that Ruby (4F) and Olivia (2D) were the joint winners of recent Sea Turtle Drawing Competition. Here are their winning entries:

Lights Off Lunchtimes

This term we trialled "Lights Off Lunchtime" every Wednesday in our classrooms where we turned classrooms lights off for an hour during lunchtime. This worked very well and gave quite a calming effect as the children enjoyed their lunch and of course, saved energy. We hope to continue and expand Lights Off Lunchtime next term and encourage you at home to turn lights off when you don't need them on!
