SunSafe
Student Ambassador Program
Scarlett Jenkins, Stella Bennett, Abbey Hodge and Hailey Cruz recently represented the College by attending the SunSafe Student Ambassador Program held at the Notre Dame University Rural Clinic here in Wagga. This is the first time the program has been held regionally so we are very grateful for the opportunity.
The SunSafe Student Ambassador Program is an initiative of Melanoma Institute Australia, this program aims to educate students about melanoma and sun safety, as well as arming them with valuable presentation skills so that they can then take their knowledge to share with their classmates to help prevent this deadly form of skin cancer. The girls will prepare a presentation to share with their year group early next term. They will also meet with Mrs Scutti to share their ideas on how we can improve sun safety here at the College.
