Veggie Garden 

Enjoying our wonderful Veggie Garden produce

Envirostars have been doing a wonderful effort in inspiring students and the community to make changes to improve sustainability at CPS. Our recent initiative ‘Envirochefs’, have seen our Envirostars taking care of the school veggie patch and last week we cooked the beginning of our winter harvest. There were many eager helpers to cook and eat stir fry made with our own bok choy and there was much excitement picking off the slugs and snails before washing and cooking the leaves. All students enjoyed their dish which also included noodles, tofu and a range of other vegetables. A tasty meal indeed!
