Playgroup:
Spring is here and at playgroup we are learning about plants! This week we prepared the garden and explored the roots of a plant. Over the coming weeks we will plant some herbs, vegetables, and flowers in the garden and learn more about how plants grow.
RAA Road Rules sessions for migrant families:
RAA is coming to talk about road rules in 3 sessions this term.
Week 7, Friday 8th of September - "Kids in Cars" - 12:30-2:30pm
Everything you need to know about choosing a seat for your children, installing, and rules about kids being in cars. They can also check any car seats already in your car to make sure it is fitted correctly!
Week 8, Wednesday 13th of September - "Road rules quiz" - 12:30-2:30pm
An interactive presentation about misunderstood road rules, new road rules, and what to do after a crash. Test your knowledge on the road rules!
Week 10, Tuesday 26th of September - "Keeping Left" - 10am-12pm
This session will talk about everything you need to know to keep safe on South Australian Roads including; road rules, signs, trams, driving on the left, and travelling in rural areas

Hub open morning:
Please join us at our Welcoming Week activity! We will have a local artist running a chalk mural for the community to help with, free things to giveaway, morning tea, bubbles, music...

Cuppa and Chat:
Cuppa and Chat is cancelled for Week 7 as I will be away on those days. And on Tuesday week 8 we will have our hub open morning. Cuppa and Chat will return as normal on Thursday week 8.
What is cuppa?
Cuppa is Australian slang for hot drink. Cuppa = cup of. Cuppa coffee, cuppa tea, cuppa hot chocolate.

I have dedicated 2 afternoons in the week (Wednesdays and Fridays) to be available to help with anything that is required. Filling in forms, resume writing, links to local services, job applications, just a chat...
