Enrichment Coaching

We have come to the end of term in Enrichment Coaching. It’s been an absolute pleasure watching the children enter with a great energy and a passion for Mathematics. We ended the term with the Grade Two’s looking at addition. We used base ten blocks to make numbers and add them together. Some groups learnt about how to regroup a ten into the next place. 

Our Grade Four’s continued to unpack division, and appreciated the time to work through multi-step problems, using their knowledge of the 4 operations. 

I am incredibly proud of their growth in such a short period of time. However, the student’s should be most proud of the growth mindset they have adopted, taking risks in the classroom and having a go at the challenges provided to them. 

I hope everyone has a restful and enjoyable holidays. I look forward to seeing all the beautiful smiling faces return in Term 4.
