To keep in theme of our Football Day excitement, each grade has been practising their AFL kicking skills. The preps have been learning to kick towards a target and a goal. The Grade 1/2’s have been using their kicking skills in a game of ‘Bombs Away’ where they need to accurately kick the ball into another team's zone. Our Grade 3-6 students have loved using their handballing and kicking skills in a modified game of AFL.

What a term it has been! Our senior students have recently chosen a country to research and learnt how to sign various facts including the population, traditional foods and travel time. It was great to see all students from Grade 3-6 challenge themselves and did a great job translating each others sentences. Our junior students have been developing their knowledge of how to sign about themselves including their favourite types of weather and favourite types of food. Students have built a solid base of knowledge and are consistently using previously learnt topics to add detail to their sentences which has been absolutely amazing!
