F-2 Tabloid Sports Day 2025

On Thursday 6th November, Greenvale Primary School held its much-loved F–2 Tabloid Sports Day! The oval was a sea of colour, as students proudly dressed in their house colours — Gellibrand (Green), Cumberland (Blue), Woodlands (Red) and Oaklands (Yellow) — ready to show off their team spirit and enjoy a fun-filled day of sport and laughter.

Throughout the day, our Foundation to Year 2 students rotated through five exciting activities designed to promote teamwork, coordination and friendly competition. Events included the 50m Sprint, Egg and Spoon Race, Beanbag Relay, Tunnel Ball, and the always-popular Parachute Games.

The cheers, smiles, and encouragement could be heard and felt across the school grounds as students gave their best effort in every event. It was fantastic to see so many students supporting their teammates, celebrating success, and simply having fun outdoors.

A huge thank you to all the staff, parent helpers and Year 6 helpers who made the day such a success. The students had an amazing time participating in all the activities — and the joy on their faces said it all!
