SPOTLIGHT ON THE CLASSROOMS

K - 2 Classroom
Last week, our K-2 students explored 3D objects, focusing on their features and identifying real-world examples of those shapes. They also conducted investigations, sorting a variety of shapes based on whether they stack or roll. Below are some of the creations they built.
3 - 6 Classroom
The 3-6 class recently completed a fun project during art, a Surprise Big Mouth Fish made from paper. Students used a special folding technique, known as an accordion fold, and then drew a small fish with a hidden mouth that pops open wide. Inside the mouth, they drew unique designs, such as small fish, teeth, or patterns, making every fish distinct. Check out the creativity of our young artists below.
