Remembrance Day Service

Sacred Heart School paused on Tuesday, 11th November, to hold a Remembrance Day service. Students and staff gathered to observe a moment of silence, honouring the sacrifices of the brave men and women who have served our nation. 

It was a meaningful opportunity for our students to connect with history and express gratitude for the freedoms we enjoy today.

We will remember them. 

Lest we forget.

I had the privilege of attending our Boggabri Community Service with our school Leader, Jacob as Kiarah was absent. He represented our school with great pride, respect and reverence. Thank you Jacob!

Lord, many people have served in our Armed Forces to help make the world a more peaceful place. We lift them up to you – those who have died and those still with us. May our prayer today help bring them and their loved ones comfort, peace and hope. 

We make this prayer to You in the name of Jesus, the Lord.
