Remembrance Day

On Tuesday our student leaders participated in the Montmorency Eltham RSL Remembrance Day Service. We were privileged to give the Remembrance Day Address as well as lay a wreath in honour of our fallen soldiers.

We were also surprised and excited to be presented with the 1st place Prize in the Primary School Art Competition. As well as the prestige of winning the competition, the students have won a lunch that includes spending time with a veteran to hear and learn about their experiences.

Hoop time

On Monday our two year 6 teams competed at Hoop Time. I have received feedback that both teams played very well and showed great sportsperson ship and played wonderfully as teams. It was also shared with me that our teams were respectful toward refs and coaches. Our coaches reported that both teams should be very proud of their efforts.Unfortunately, both teams didn’t win their finals, coming up against very strong teams but we are very proud of them for making it to the grand final as this is an awesome achievement.

Special Awards Assembly

On Friday December 5th we will be holding our Special Awards Assembly where we celebrate a variety of awards being presented to students for 2025. If your child is receiving an award the teacher giving the award will contact you in advance to allow you maximum time to allow you to plan to see your child receive the award.

PFA Meeting

Our next PFA meeting will be held on Thursday 27 November, in the Science room at school from 7.00–8.30pm.

The agenda will include a brief recap of PFA activities in 2025 and planning for events in 2026.

Everyone is welcome! Whether you’d like to help organise events, contribute ideas, or simply listen in, we’d love to have you join us. This is a face-to-face meeting, however a link to join online will be shared prior to the date.

The calendar is starting to fill up so I thought it might be handy to include the events calendar here so that you can keep your calendars up to date:
