Year 6 Graduation News
A reminder for orders closing this Friday (21st November)
~ Signature products – students will be presented will these after lunch and have the opportunity for their peers to sign them.
~ RSVP for numbers attending and student lunch orders.
~ Any family members wishing to join their graduation child for lunch are to order and pay by this date also.
Students will have the opportunity to have their Year 6 tops signed (if they would like to) on the last day of school, after lunch (Thursday 18th December). This will be held in the gym and other classes and teachers will be invited to visit during this hour. Students may also wish to bring their signature products from the Graduation Day to have signed as well.
2025 Year 6 Graduation Ceremony - Monday 15th December (Re-run)
It is getting close to the end of the year and the graduation celebrations for our Year 6 students. This year the Graduation will be held on Monday the 15th of December in the Kim Barne Nitji building (gymnasium). Students and families are welcome to arrive from 11.00am onwards, with the official ceremony starting at 11.30am. Therefore, students are not required at school until that time.
After the official part of the graduation (which includes the presentation of awards, some speeches, photo opportunities) all Year 6 graduates will be provided with lunch. Student lunches are paid for with a kind donation from the Parents and Friends Association (PFA). Lunches are provided by Miners Rest Tavern.
Family members are welcome to stay for lunch with their Year 6 graduate if they would like to. A separate Qkr! app order form for families is available now with a selection of menu items on offer and the cost. Payment for family members' lunches will be required when completing the family lunch order via Qkr! app.
We expect lunch to be around 12.45pm - 1.30pm. Year 6 students will then remain at school for the remainder of the day, participating in a range of student selected games and activities.
All Year 6 graduates are encouraged to invite family members to attend the graduation celebration where possible. So we can have an idea of how many will be attending, please complete the below Google Form by no later than Friday 21st November.

Signature Keepsakes
As our Year 6 students prepare to celebrate their graduation and the end of their primary school journey, we're excited to offer a range of signature keepsakes to mark the occasion. These make wonderful mementos for students to have signed by friends and teachers as they say farewell to primary school.
Items are available to purchase now via the Qkr! app under the "Yr 6 Graduation Keepsakes" section.
Orders close on Friday 21st November, so please be sure to get in early to avoid missing out -- no late orders will be accepted.
