Our literacy programs are in full swing this term, with plenty to celebrate across the school!

🐸 Little LEAPers Extension Program (Grade 2)

Our Little LEAPers program is up and running again, with a strong literacy focus this term. Selected Grade 2 students are diving deeper into reading and writing through targeted extension sessions, tracking their thinking, and applying new skills to their independent work. We’re already seeing fantastic engagement and growth from this enthusiastic group.

🐶 Bulldogs Read – End-of-Year Celebration

We wrapped up Bulldogs Read with a wonderful celebration alongside our Grade 5 participants. A huge congratulations to the following award recipients:

• James – Most book reviews submitted for 2025 with an incredible 30 reviews
• Ivy – Recognised for her consistent effort and commitment throughout the program
• Stevie – Awarded Most Improved Reviewer for exceptional growth across the year

A massive thank you to Jess, who has supported this group to new heights. As a team, our students submitted 158 book reviews for the year — the most of any school in the program, and an impressive 110 more reviews than last year!

Our reading culture continues to grow, and we’re incredibly proud of all students involved. Keep an eye out for more literacy celebrations to come!
