From the Classroom - B5 (Jess)

Much of our work this term has been related to our History Unit on 'Celebrations Around the World', with students exploring and developing their understanding of the various unique celebrations recognised by different groups. 

In Writing, students selected one celebration recognised from another continent to delve deeper into, studying the origins of the celebration and tracking its changes and development up until now. They then used this information to write a Historical Recount, typing out their published piece on their iPads. Students enjoyed the experience of publishing their work on the iPad and practising their typing skills. Check out some of the finished products below.
