Basketball

Last week, our basketball teams competed in Echuca. The girls team had 2 wins and 2 losses, narrowly missing out on a spot in the semis. The boys won 3 games and lost 1, which put them into the semi finals. In a highly entertaining game, the boys lead from the start of the game and the only time they got behind was the last play of the game, losing by 2 points after a shot with 2 seconds left on the clock. We were extremely proud of how well our teams conducted themselves. They encouraged, showed true sportsmanship and competed as hard as they could. Thanks to our super coaches, Tobie and Matisse, not just for their work on the day, but for all the training and guidance you provided the team leading up to the tournament.
