Year 11 students have participated in a 3-day study camp at Camp Coolamatong on the Banksia Peninsula. The camp is designed to enable students to be prepared to start Year 12 in a positive and well-resourced manner.
Both VCE and VCE VM students engaged in a variety of activities with a focus on team building, and health and well-being. The students enjoyed raft making, stand up paddle boarding, combat archery, canoeing, a fun night hike, a boat trip to The Grange and an entertaining dress up night with the theme dressing up using the first letter of your name.

As part of their Personal Development program Year 11 VM students conducted a Market Day stall on Monday 10th November. Students have spent the past term developing a business proposal, plan and marketing strategies to promote the product that they manufactured on site here at school. Items for sale included wooden Christmas decorations, jewellery, key rings, artwork, jams, chutneys and dips, biscuits, slices, deconstructed brownie mix, bird feed, vegetable seedlings, and homemade pasta sauce. Students presented their produce for sale in a variety of ways and had the opportunity to showcase their work along with their marketing and enterprising skills.

This week our Year 10 students participated in an Elevate session focused on mapping motivation, building belief, and setting meaningful goals. The session encouraged students to reflect on what drives them, strengthen their confidence, and plan actionable steps to achieve success both academically and personally.
It was inspiring to see students actively engaging with their aspirations and thinking about how to make their goals a reality!

Our Year 12 VCE students have been giving their absolute best throughout the exam period—studying with determination, showing resilience, and approaching each exam with focus and confidence. With the finish line now clearly in sight, we are incredibly proud of the effort they have shown.
This year, students were able to revise either from home or on campus, choosing the environment that best supported their learning and wellbeing. It has been wonderful to see them make the most of this flexibility and take ownership of their study routines.
We also want to acknowledge all of our Year 12 students—those completing exams, beginning apprenticeships, entering the workforce, or moving into further study. Every pathway is valued, and every achievement is worth celebrating.
We look forward to recognising the entire Year 12 cohort and their accomplishments at our Graduation Evening next Wednesday. It promises to be a special occasion for students, families, and staff alike.
