Students & Learning

Classroom Learning with 4/5B
This week 45B participated in the first of three sessions ‘Living & Growing Program’ conducted by Sex Education Australia (SEA). The sessions provided students with age-appropriate information on puberty, personal safety, relationships and reproduction. Students initially were feeling awkward but responded to the activities and discussions with maturity. Comments from the kids included….
‘Awkward because I saw things that I haven’t seen before’
‘We read a funny story called ‘Everybody has a Bottom’
‘Learning about our body parts was awkward but interesting’.
