This event marks a pivotal moment in our students’ journey, as they step forward to express their leadership aspirations through speeches that reflect their values, vision, and commitment to our school community.
At St Anthony’s, we believe that leadership is integral to lifelong learning. Every student in their final year of primary school deserves the opportunity to demonstrate and develop leadership skills. These experiences not only prepare them for the transition to secondary school but also lay the foundation for their future roles in society.
Our school motto, Love and Service, is the heart of our leadership philosophy. We encourage students to lead with compassion, humility, and a genuine desire to serve others. Leadership at STA is not about titles. It’s about being a role model, fostering unity and living out the Charism and spirituality of our Catholic tradition.

A heartfelt thank you to our Parents & Friends President, Sean Sheridan, for his ongoing support and involvement. To top it all off, the Class of 2026 spent time with their Year 5 buddies, engaging in storytelling and creative crafts. It was a joy to see these budding friendships begin to blossom. We look forward to officially welcoming our Kindergarten students in 2026 and sharing many memorable moments together.

Remembrance Day
Last week we were privileged to be part of our Remembrance Day service. Every year at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month, millions around the world pause in silence to remember the sacrifices many have made so we can enjoy life today. This is a very important day across the globe and a tradition our school continues to uphold. Well done to Year 4 who led such a beautiful service.
A special commendation goes to Years 3 & 4 for leading such a beautiful and heartfelt service. Your dedication and poise truly honoured the significance of the day.
Ode of Remembrance
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.
