A Grandparent from Newlands - Sue Marsh, is hosting an art auction to raise money for the children of Gaza. All proceeds will go to the Gaza Children's Fund - https://gazachildrensfund.org/

Artwork will be hung at the Newlands Neighbourhood House (NECCHi) in Coburg North. If you can't make the main event, you can pop into the centre and bid anytime from today Friday 7th November until Friday 21st November. The main event is on Friday 21st November from 4pm and there will be food available to purchase from Aheda's Kitchen, a Palestinian chef cooking traditional flavours of Palestine.

The rundown for the main event will be as follows:

4pm - Come down and look at the artwork and place a bid

5-7pm - Food is available to purchase

6:45pm - ids close on silent auction

7pm - Acknowledgment of Country. Auction of selected pieces and announcement of silent auction winners.

The event is the same evening as the grade 1/2 sleepover, so come down and grab some dinner after drop-offs and have a look at some beautiful art.

The Preston Bullants Junior Football club is hosting a “Bring a Friend” special training session on Wednesday, 10 December, after school from 4:30pm – 5:15pm.

This event is open to all ages and includes a sausage sizzle. It’s a great opportunity for kids to try out football and express their interest in joining the club for the 2026 season.

Reservoir United SC is inviting young players to join their Mini Roos program for the 2025 season. The club is welcoming girls and boys aged 6 to 11 years who are interested in developing their skills, building confidence, and enjoying the game in a supportive environment.

Trials will begin on Tuesday, 11th November. Families can register their interest by scanning the QR code provided on the promotional flyer or by visiting the club’s website.

This is a great opportunity for children to get involved in community sport, learn new skills, and be part of a growing local club.
